Rassegna Gastronomica Selvatica 2024

Here we go again! The Rassegna Gastronomica Selvatica returns, now a tradition at Ristorante La Baia, marking the end of the season on Lake Como. With the arrival of autumn, the lake is transformed: the air becomes crisper, the landscape is painted in warm golden and red hues, and strolls along the shore or through the quiet villages become even more enchanting and intimate.

It’s the perfect moment to take a break from the summer rush, enjoying the serene charm of the lake in an atmosphere of absolute tranquility.

Against this backdrop, we invite you to discover our new autumn menu, designed to enhance the rich and comforting flavors of the season. This year, Chef Ilario, Emanuele, and the kitchen team have crafted a unique proposal that brings together the best local ingredients into a refined culinary experience, perfect for immersing yourself in the autumnal ambiance of the lake.

We begin with BARBA-FUMÈ, a beetroot carpaccio from Agriturismo Tre Terre, enriched with trout roe and sour cream, paired with a smoked carrot purée that will transport you to the fragrant woods surrounding the lake.

Next is our pasta dish: the unmissable FAGOTTELLI RIBELLI, filled with Storico Ribelle® fondue and served with a Pietrerose reduction and a honey mustard from Cremia, a tribute to the robust flavors of Valtellina.

The second course, IL CERVO, highlights the rich taste of game with a tender venison fillet served with sherry-poached pears and a chanterelle sauce, perfectly capturing the essence of the season. We finish the plating tableside for that extra touch.

For dessert, GHERIGLI, GRISULÒN E YOGURT combines a blueberry tartlet, yogurt semifreddo, and walnut gelato—an indulgent and comforting way to end the meal.
